Did you know sharks don't have bones? Instead of bones they have a collection of cartilage to keep them from imploding from ocean pressure. Turns out every day is a school day and back to the drawing board we went. Ever seen an unfortunate shark, washed up on the shore, baked in the harsh sun? No us neither but the photos we found online looked badass!

What better inspiration for a piece of jewellery than one of the gnarliest animals around. We could probably beat a shark in a fist fight but they truly become terrible if you try that in the ocean. More teeth than The Taniwha and a bigger mouth than your missus on a Saturday night. 

We found that a great white shark looks very smooth despite the opposite being true. To bring the detail we started the mummification process to add the intrigue without losing the fact that it is indeed a shark. Deep lines and an emaciated appearance give this ring a truly dynamic feel without compromising on comfort for the wearer.
